ICMSAO’13 Work-in-Progress Program is a forum for researchers and industry practitioners to exchange information regarding advancements in the state of the art of research and practice in all areas related to Modeling, Simulation and Applied Optimization, to identify emerging research topics, and to define the future directions of research on the above mentioned areas.

We are planning a highly interactive and participatory meeting, with ample room for discussing new ideas, work in progress, and thesis and dissertations. Our Work-in-Progress Program will be carefully planned to achieve this goal. It will be centering on providing a forum for researchers and industry practitioners to discuss their on-going research and projects in the field of Modeling, Simulation and Applied Optimization.

Abstract Submission Procedures:

Submit a PDF or MSWord file following the IEEE format (link). All submitted Extended Abstracts (at most 2 pages) should be written in English. And must be sent by email to the Chair of the Work-in-Progress Program Dr. Taicir Loukil (loukilt@gmail.com).

Selected extended-abstracts will be considered as potential full-paper publications, subject to peer reviews (TBA).

Work-in-Progress Paper Submission Deadlines:

• Abstract Submission Deadline: March 15, 2013
• Acceptance notice (by Email):  March 30, 2013
• Early registration:                      April 15, 2013
• Preliminary Program:               April 20, 2013
